SHAUNA SWERLAND

Shauna Swerland is one of the lucky ones. Having been in the Search Industry for almost 20 years, she feels blessed to have found her career path early and still feels the same passion as the day she started. She loves what she does – and it shows.

After playing Division I Pac 10 women’s tennis at the University of Washington, Shauna has spent the past two decades in San Francisco and New York connecting the right people with the right people. She has opened eight offices, hired, trained and managed over 100 recruiters, and built relationships with outstanding candidates and clients.

Conlon takes a consultative approach and works closely with each client and candidate to ensure both are happy long term. Always professional and upbeat, she goes above and beyond to provide outstanding results with a high level of personalized service.

Erin St. Pierre, Recruiter, is a Seattle native. She started her recruiting career six years ago after getting her degree in Fine Art and working as a Graphic Designer. Albert Squiers leverages his years of international IT recruiting experience across Seattle, New York City and AsiaPac to deliver unmatched talent in an ever competitive market. Prior to joining Fuel Talent, Albert managed the recruiting division of a local technology staffing firm serving both enterprise and mid-market companies.  Three years after he joined, they became one of the Eastside’s Top 25 fastest growing companies.  Before that, he led the recruiting division of The PGC Group, which focused on technology consulting and contractor management. Kurt Hynes brings his 9+ years of healthcare and technology recruitment and management experience to the Fuel Talent family. Prior to joining Fuel, Kurt created and led one of the nation’s largest healthcare niche recruitment and staffing agencies for Genesis Healthcare.

Kurt focuses on recruiting for mid and senior level technology roles for Greater Seattle area companies. His focus includes software engineers, developers, mobile developers, system engineers, SDET’s, DevOps,  network engineers, QA Engineers, PM, and TPM roles for full time and contract positions.

Kurt is inspired by technology and the immense impact it has on transforming and improving people’s daily lives. He is actively involved in Seattle’s technology scene, and can be found volunteering or attending local conferences and meet ups.

ROBIN ANDRULEVICH

Advisor


Robin is Fuel Talent’s Business Advisor. She works closely with our team on internal and external recruiting efforts, and consults Fuel’s CEO, Shauna Swerland on the strategic direction of the company.

She is also the Director of Talent at Madrona, and in that role, Robin works closely with Madrona’s portfolio companies to manage talent needs ranging from recruiting and talent acquisition to providing HR-related strategic support.

Robin is Fuel Talent’s Business Advisor. She works closely with our team on internal and external recruiting efforts, and consults Fuel’s CEO, Shauna Swerland on the strategic direction of the company.

She is also the Director of Talent at Madrona, and in that role, Robin works closely with Madrona’s portfolio companies to manage talent needs ranging from recruiting and talent acquisition to providing HR-related strategic support.

Robin has over twenty years of experience managing human resources and talent management at many high growth companies across media, publishing, ecommerce, hi-tech and Internet industries. Prior to working with Madrona, Robin provided human resources and organizational consulting to many early start-ups. She also led worldwide human resources for all non-fulfillment business functions, HR services and organizational development in several senior roles while at Amazon.com.

Robin earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science from University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s in English and Comparative Literature from Barnard.

For candidates who are unsure about career direction and goals, unclear on their best “value add”, or need tips and techniques on how to best position or market themselves, she can help. In her private coaching practice, Marcy has guided hundreds of talented individuals and teams to achieve growth and impact in their professional lives, and connect with work they love. Marcy leverages over 25 years of experiences as a manager, teacher and executive in marketing, operations, strategy and people development in both business and educational environments, including Williams-Sonoma, Backroads, the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and the UW’s Foster School of Business. Along with coaching her clients, Marcy is currently an Adjunct Professor at the UW, teaching and coaching students in the Technology and Leadership MBA programs, and is co-founder of Here to There Consulting, offering workshops and coaching dedicated to mothers in professional transition.
